Virtual life
When the life runs along
the way of dreams, hopes, beliefs and considerations, everything starts to seem
unusual. This unusuality isn't so cheap that it can be simply understood. All
might know very well that it is designed, a blessed one. When the emptiness
sounds, the distance warns, it becomes difficult. The more difficulty is when
impossibility is anticipated. But, only few find no meaning of impossibility,
me too the same. The world is full of fools whoever they may be, from the great
heroes trying to turn the extreme pages of possibility or those who give up
before trying or fear of failing . Obviously, contemplation is a better way,
but what can we do, it's even not straight for fools. My problem is that i
can't think straight.
When the heart starts to run all around, over
the great seas, vast space, talks with the air and feels the warmth of rays, it
consoles much. Actually, this consolation has been developed. When an unseen
thing becomes precious, undone thing becomes a reason to smile, life really
longs to fly. When the soul truely prays for something, everyone might have
been confused about what the purpose of life is. For me, life shouldn't have
any purpose for birth is just an opportunity. Life is a way that enjoys us and
may sometime incline us towards what enjoys us. When people find what they
actually glee through, all over, it becomes their way, a reason to smile. This
is a perfect virtual life full of pleasures from within the soul but this dirty
nature never lets it so, so easily. This is a real ail, a mess and even a
better challenge to live the life with ease.
Often when the solution relates to the virginity
of time, it really gets into my nerves. Life can't go ahead without any dreams
but sometimes these are so precious that the fear to lose them untill within
the virginity of time actually arrives, pains the heart much.
However, a layer of strong belief in the heart,
about not to lose my dream, is quite enough to console me overally. Often, many
thinkers regard belief to be the ultimate site to land on when all the closed
possibilities lay around, but for me, belief is absolute thing, a pious from
within, a source of struggle and hope, may be gifted by the Lord, adding a
great meaning to my virtual life.

About Everything and Emptiness
"Your thoughts,
your feelings, your emotions, your sentiments, all are centered in your head.
It is just a fallacy to think that your feelings are in the heart. Your heart
is just a blood pumping station.
"When we are talking about the empty heart, we are really talking about the empty mind. Buddha has used the word heart instead of mind because mind has become associated with the idea that it is only the process of thinking, and the process of feeling is in the heart, and the heart is deeper.
"These ideas have been created by the poets. But the truth is, you can call it empty mind or you can call it empty heart; it is the same. Emptiness – you are just a watcher and all around there is nothing with which you are identified, there is nothing to which you are clinging. This non-clinging watchfulness is the empty mind, no-mind, or empty heart. These are simply words. The real thing is emptiness – of all thoughts, feelings, sentiments, emotions. Only a single point of witnessing remains."
"I don't preach revolution. I am utterly against revolution. I say unto you that my word for the future,
and for those who are intelligent enough in the present, is rebellion. What is the difference?
"Rebellion is individual action; it has nothing to do with the crowd.
Rebellion has nothing to do with politics, power, violence. Rebellion has something to do with changing your consciousness,
"And each individual passing through a rebellion is not fighting with anybody else,
but is only fighting with his own darkness. Swords are not needed, bombs are not needed.
What is needed is more alertness, more meditativeness, more love, more prayerfulness, more gratitude.

Surrounded by all these
qualities you are born anew.
your silence, your being. It is a spiritual metamorphosis.
your silence, your being. It is a spiritual metamorphosis.
A Meditator Needs No Personal Guidance
"If you can become just your own self, if you can blossom into your intrinsic nature, then only you will have blissfulness – a peace which cannot be expressed in words, and a certain poetry to your being;
"A meditator needs no personal guidance. A meditator, on the contrary, needs only one thing: the atmosphere of meditation. He needs other meditators; he needs to be surrounded by other meditators. Because whatever goes on happening within us is not only within us, it affects people who are close by. In this communion people are at different stages of meditation. To meditate with these people, just to sit silently with these people, and you will be pulled more and more towards your own intrinsic potentiality."
"A certain dance to your being, because you will be in tune with existence. To be in tune with yourself is the only way to be in tune with existence.
Nobody needs personal guidance, because all personal guidance is a beautiful name for dependence on somebody and he is going to distort you."
Relaxation Is Only a Beginning
"Relaxation is good, but it is only a beginning; it just prepares the ground for meditation. But meditation is a totally different affair.
You have to become aware of your mind stuff. Whatever goes on in your mind you have to become a watcher, and the watcher has to be so deep-rooted that slowly, slowly your mind disappears and only the watcher remains. Then all possibilities of tension, anxiety, anguish, disappear and you will not find even the conflict."
Enlightenment Is Not an Experience
"One of the
most fundamental things to be remembered – not only by you but by everyone – is
that whatever you come across in your inner journey, you are not it."You are the one who is witnessing it. It may be nothingness, it may be blissfulness, it may be silence, but one thing has to be remembered: however beautiful and however enchanting an experience you come across, you are not it. You are the one who is experiencing it. And if you go on and on and on, the ultimate in the journey is the point when there is no experience left – neither silence, nor blissfulness, nor nothingness. There is nothing as an object for you, but only your subjectivity.
"The mirror is empty; it is not reflecting anything. It is you.
"Even great travelers of the inner world have got stuck in beautiful experiences, and have become identified with those experiences, thinking, "I have found myself." They have stopped before reaching the final stage where all experiences disappear. Enlightenment is not an experience."
The Ego Is a Puzzle
"The ego is a puzzle. It is something like darkness – which you can see, which you can feel, which can obstruct your way but which does not exist. It has no positivity. It is simply an absence, an absence of light.
The ego does not exist – how can you surrender it? The ego is only an absence of awareness."
"You cannot surrender ego, because it does not exist. You can bring a little awareness, a little consciousness, a little light. Forget completely about the ego; concentrate totally on bringing alertness into your being. And the moment your consciousness has become a flame, concentrated, you will not be able to find the ego."
Nobody Really Wants to Be Free – Because Freedom Brings Responsibility
"Everybody wants freedom as far as talking is concerned, but nobody really is free and nobody really wants to be free, because freedom brings responsibility. It does not come alone. And to be dependent is simple: the responsibility is not on you, the responsibility is on the person you are dependent on.
"So people have made a schizophrenic way of life. They talk about truth, they talk about freedom, and they live in lies, they live in slaveries – slaveries of many kinds, because each slavery frees you from some responsibility. A man who really wants to be free has to accept immense responsibilities. He cannot dump his responsibilities on anybody else. Whatever he does, whatever he is, he is responsible."
My Effort Is to Leave You Alone with Meditation
"My effort is to leave you alone with meditation, with no mediator between you and existence. When you are not in meditation you are separated from existence and that is your suffering. It's the same as when you take a fish out of the ocean and throw it on the bank – the misery and the suffering and the tortures he goes through, the hankering and the effort to reach back to the ocean because it is where he belongs. He is part of the ocean and he cannot remain apart."
I Had Always Wanted Not to Be a Master to Anybody
"I had always wanted not to be a master to anybody. But people want a master, they want to be disciples; hence, I played the role. It is time that I should say to you that now many of you are ready to accept me as the friend."
Possessiveness Destroys Love
"In my vision, marriages in the commune should be dissolved.
People can live together their whole life if they want, but that is not a legal necessity.
People should be moving, having as many experiences of love as possible. They should not be possessive.
Possessiveness destroys love. And they should not be possessed, because that again destroys your love.
"All human beings are
worthy of being loved. There is no need to be tethered to one
person for your whole life. That is one of the reasons why all the people
around the world look so bored. Why can't they laugh like you? Why can't they
dance like you? They are chained with invisible chains: marriage, family,
husband, wife, children. They are burdened with all kinds of duties,
responsibilities, sacrifices. And you want them to smile and laugh and dance
and rejoice? You are asking the impossible.
"Make people's love free, make people non-possessive. But this can happen only if in your meditation you discover your being.
It is nothing to practice. I am not saying to you, "Tonight you go to some other woman just as a practice.
" You will not get anything, and you may lose your wife.
And in the morning you will look silly. It is not a question of practicing, it is a question of discovering your being.
"With the discovery of being follows the quality of impersonal lovingness. Then you simply love."

I Speak to Help You to Be Silent
"I speak to help you to be silent. I say something so that you can go beyond words. I use words to help you to go into wordlessness. It is just like having a thorn in the foot: with another thorn you pull it out. Your mind is full of words, so many, and so much chattering – yakkety-yak, yakkety-yak – it goes on and on. But then people became intoxicated with my words. That was not my purpose. I continuously insisted, "Don't be concerned with my words. Be concerned with my silences, the gaps between the words, the gaps between the lines."
Doubt Needs Great Courage
"Doubt needs great courage because you will be doubting everything possible.
You will be surrounded by all kinds of doubts. All consoling beliefs will be taken away,
beliefs which gave you a certain confidence, a certain stability, a certain feeling that you belong to a big tradition,
a well-respected religion of holy scriptures, messiahs, representatives of God.
"You had all these things surrounding you. They gave you a cozy feeling that you are not alone.
I am trying to do just this: cut away everything that gives you a false, cozy feeling and that keeps you dozing all your life.
"Belief is the opium which all the religions have been giving you in good doses. I am trying to destroy your addiction to the opium. My whole effort is to leave you alone."
Is Awareness a Higher Value Than Love?
"You ask: 'Is awareness a higher value than love?' There is nothing higher and nothing lower. In fact, there are not two values at all. These are the two paths from the valley leading to the peak. One path is of awareness, meditation: the path of Zen we have been talking about these days. And the other is the path of love, the path of the devotees, the bhaktas, the Sufis. These two paths are separate when you start the journey; you have to choose. Whichever you choose is going to lead to the same peak. And as you come closer to the peak you will be surprised: the travelers on the other path are coming closer to you. Slowly slowly, the paths start merging into each other. By the time you have reached the ultimate, they are one.
"The person who follows the path of awareness finds love as a consequence of his awareness, as a by-product, as a shadow. And the person who follows the path of love finds awareness as a consequence, as a by-product, as a shadow of love. They are two sides of the same coin.
"And remember: if your awareness lacks love then it is still impure; it has not yet known one hundred percent purity. It is not yet really awareness; it must be mixed with unawareness. It is not pure light; there must be pockets of darkness inside you still working, functioning, influencing you, dominating you. If your love is without awareness, then it is not love yet. It must be something lower, something closer to lust than to prayer.
"So let it be a criterion if you follow the path of awareness, let love be the criterion. When your awareness suddenly blooms into love, know perfectly well that awareness has happened, samadhi has been achieved. If you follow the path of love, then let awareness function as a criterion, as a touchstone. When suddenly, from nowhere, at the very center of your love. a flame of awareness starts arising, know perfectly well…rejoice! You have come home."
I Don’t Teach You Optimism – I Teach You Transcendence
"I don't teach you optimism. In the West it is very fashionable nowadays; it is called "positive thinking.
" That is a new name for optimism; the old name has become a little too out of fashion, out-of-date.
The new name is positive thinking. I don't teach you positive thinking, because positive thinking carries the negative in its wake.
"I teach you transcendence – neither positive nor negative. Be a watcher: witness both.
When there is day, witness the day, and when there is night, witness the night – and don't get identified with either.
You are neither the day nor the night; you are the transcendental consciousness. Become more and more centered there in that transcendence.
"True religion is not positive, nor is it negative. It is neither via negativa nor via positiva; it is via transcendence."
The Cyclone Is the Center
"There is no center to this cyclone, the cyclone is the center. We have a chronic habit of dividing things into two, we have a chronic habit of duality: God and the world, body and soul, the lower and the higher the good and bad. The habit persists. Now it is the center and the cyclone.
"Let me insist on it: the cyclone is the center and there is no other center to it. Once you understand this oneness of life then all tension, anxiety, anguish, disappears. The anxiety is created because you are always dividing. Through division you become split; through division you become schizophrenic. Now you think that you are on the circumference – the cyclone – and the center has been lost, so now the center has to be found.
"It is the old habit of duality. The "center and the cyclone" is a new language, but this habit is very old, the gestalt is very old. It is always that wherever you are you are not right, you should be somewhere else.
"My whole emphasis is that whatsoever is, is right. There is no other right. There is nowhere to go. This is the only life there is, the only dance there is. Only then you can be spontaneous, really spontaneous."
The Seeker Is the Sought
"Man is almost mad – mad because he is seeking something which he has already got;
mad because he's not aware of who he is; mad because he hopes, desires and then ultimately, feels frustrated.
Frustration is bound to be there because you cannot find yourself by seeking; you are already there.
The seeking has to stop, the search has to drop: that is the greatest problem to be faced, encountered.
"The problem is that you have something and you are seeking it. Now, how can you find it?
You are too occupied with seeking, and you cannot see the thing that you already have.
Unless all seeking stops, you will not be able to see it. Seeking makes your mind focus somewhere in the future,
and the thing that you are seeking is already here, now, this very moment.
That which you are seeking is hidden in the seeker himself: the seeker is the sought; hence, so much neurosis, so much madness."
Freedom Is Not License
"Freedom is not license, and does not mean no structure. It simply means flexibility, that one can move from one structure to another easily – from no-structure to structure, from structure to no-structure. If your freedom is afraid of being in a structure, then it is not freedom at all.
"Just try to understand this, and the split will disappear. It is not there in your being, but just in your mind, just an idea. Drop the idea and enjoy freedom, and sometimes discipline.
"Discipline has its own beauty, it is not all slavery. And freedom has its own dangers and is not all beautiful. A real person is always capable of infinite discipline and infinite freedom – he is not a slave or an addict to anything."
Love
Is Dangerous, Sex Is Not Dangerous
"People who are afraid of love are not afraid of sex. Love is dangerous; sex is not dangerous, it can be manipulated.
There are now many manuals on how to do it. You can manipulate it – sex can become a technique.
Love can never become a technique. If in sex you try to remain in control, then even sex will not help to reach the ultimate.
It will go to a certain point and you will drop back, because somewhere it also needs a let-go.
"That's why orgasm is becoming more and more difficult. Ejaculation is not orgasm, to give birth to children is not orgasmic.
Orgasm is the involvement of the total body: mind, body, soul, all together. You vibrate, your whole being vibrates, from the toes to the head.
You are no longer in control; existence has taken possession of you and you don't know who you are.
It is like a madness, it is like a sleep, it is like meditation, it is like death."

Celebration Is Unconditional
"To me, life in its totality is good. And when you understand life in its totality, only then can you celebrate; otherwise not. Celebration means: whatsoever happens is irrelevant – I celebrate. Celebration is not conditional on certain things: "When I am happy then I will celebrate," or, "When I am unhappy I will not celebrate." No. Celebration is unconditional; I celebrate life. It brings unhappiness – good, I celebrate it. It brings happiness – good, I celebrate it. Celebration is my attitude, unconditional to what life brings."
You
Cannot Chose Choicelessness
"Krishnamurti consistently emphasizes not to choose, and to be choiceless – that's the base of innocence.
But you can deceive yourself by choosing choicelessness: "Because Krishnamurti says, 'Be choiceless' I will be choiceless.
" If you decide, the will has entered – and the will is cunning.
If you decide to be choiceless, your choicelessness will be part of a morality, not part of purity.
"Just understand, don't choose – don't choose even choiceless-ness."

At the Center There Is Neither Love Nor Hate
"When one becomes a center, when one becomes crystallized, there is neither repulsion nor attraction to anyone. This creates a deeper problem because it means that you cannot go beyond hate unless you go beyond love.
"Everyone wants to go beyond hate, but no one wants to go beyond love. But that creates an impossible situation for you because hate is a part of the one phenomenon of repulsion and attraction."
You Are the Aloneness
"A single moment of knowing the realization that you are alone – alone to tread the path,
alone to create the path, alone to be committed to living, alone to be involved in the moment – can penetrate you and society vanishes.
You are alone."
"There is no guru now, there is no one to be followed. There is no leader, there is no guide. You are alone; you are the aloneness. There is no one to adulterate it or contaminate it. It is so pure, innocent and beautiful. This aloneness is the path, this aloneness is meditation, this aloneness is yoga."

New Emerging technology of the world
Emerging Technology
New challenges need new technologies to tackle them. Here, the World Economic Forum’s
Global Agenda Council on Emerging technology identifies the top 10 most promising technology
trends that can help to deliver sustainable growth in decades to come as global population
and material demands on the environment continue to grow rapidly. These are technologies
that the Council considers have made development breakthroughs and are nearing large-scale deployment.
OnLine Electric Vehicles (OLEV)
Wireless technology can now deliver electric power to moving vehicles. In next-generation electric cars, pick-up coil sets under the vehicle floor receive power remotely via an electromagnetic field broadcast from cables installed under the road. The current also charges an onboard battery used to power the vehicle when it is out of range. As electricity is supplied externally, these vehicles need only a fifth of the battery capacity of a standard electric car, and can achieve transmission efficiencies of over 80%. Online electric vehicles are currently undergoing road tests in Seoul, South Korea.
3-D printing and remote manufacturing
Three-dimensional printing allows the creation of solid structures from a digital computer file, potentially revolutionizing the economics of manufacturing if objects can be printed remotely in the home or office. The process involves layers of material being deposited on top of each other in to create free-standing structures from the bottom up. Blueprints from computer-aided design are sliced into cross-section for print templates, allowing virtually created objects to be used as models for “hard copies” made from plastics, metal alloys or other materials.
Self-healing materials
One of the defining characteristics of living organisms is their inherent ability to repair physical damage. A growing trend in biomimicry is the creation of non-living structural materials that also have the capacity to heal themselves when cut, torn or cracked. Self-healing materials which can repair damage without external human intervention could give manufactured goods longer lifetimes and reduce the demand for raw materials, as well as improving the inherent safety of materials used in construction or to form the bodies of aircraft.
Energy-efficient water purification
Water scarcity is a worsening ecological problem in many parts of the world due to competing demands from agriculture, cities and other human uses. Where freshwater systems are over-used or exhausted, desalination from the sea offers near-unlimited water but a considerable use of energy – mostly from fossil fuels – to drive evaporation or reverse-osmosis systems. Emerging technologies offer the potential for significantly higher energy efficiency in desalination or purification of wastewater, potentially reducing energy consumption by 50% or more. Techniques such as forward-osmosis can additionally improve efficiency by utilizing low-grade heat from thermal power production or renewable heat produced by solar-thermal geothermal installations.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) conversion and use
Long-promised technologies for the capture and underground sequestration of carbon dioxide have yet to be proven commercially viable, even at the scale of a single large power station. New technologies that convert the unwanted CO2 into saleable goods can potentially address both the economic and energetic shortcomings of conventional CCS strategies. One of the most promising approaches uses biologically engineered photosynthetic bacteria to turn waste CO2 into liquid fuels or chemicals, in low-cost, modular solar converter systems. Individual systems are expected to reach hundreds of acres within two years. Being 10 to 100 times as productive per unit of land area, these systems address one of the main environmental constraints on biofuels from agricultural or algal feedstock, and could supply lower carbon fuels for automobiles, aviation or other big liquid-fuel users.
Enhanced nutrition to drive health at the molecular level
Even in developed countries millions of people suffer from malnutrition due to nutrient deficiencies in their diets. Now modern genomic techniques can determine at the gene sequence level the vast number of naturally consumed proteins which are important in the human diet. The proteins identified may have advantages over standard protein supplements in that they can supply a greater percentage of essential amino acids, and have improved solubility, taste, texture and nutritional characteristics. The large-scale production of pure human dietary proteins based on the application of biotechnology to molecular nutrition can deliver health benefits such as muscle development, managing diabetes or reducing obesity.
Remote sensing
The increasingly widespread use of sensors that allow often passive responses to external stimulae will continue to change the way we respond to the environment, particularly in the area of health. Examples include sensors that continually monitor bodily function – such as heart rate, blood oxygen and blood sugar levels – and, if necessary, trigger a medical response such as insulin provision. Advances rely on wireless communication between devices, low power-sensing technologies and, sometimes, active energy harvesting. Other examples include vehicle-to-vehicle sensing for improved safety on the road.
Precise drug delivery through nanoscale engineering
Pharmaceuticals that can be precisely delivered at the molecular level within or around a diseased cell offer unprecedented opportunities for more effective treatments while reducing unwanted side effects. Targeted nanoparticles that adhere to diseased tissue allow for the micro-scale delivery of potent therapeutic compounds while minimizing their impact on healthy tissue, and are now advancing in medical trials. After almost a decade of research, these new approaches are finally showing signs of clinical utility.
Organic electronics and photovoltaics
Organic electronics – a type of printed electronics – is the use of organic materials such as polymers to create electronic circuits and devices. In contrast to traditional (silicon-based) semiconductors that are fabricated with expensive photolithographic techniques, organic electronics can be printed using low-cost, scalable processes such as ink jet printing, making them extremely cheap compared with traditional electronics devices, both in terms of the cost per device and the capital equipment required to produce them. While organic electronics are currently unlikely to compete with silicon in terms of speed and density, they have the potential to provide a significant edge in cost and versatility. The cost implications of printed mass-produced solar photovoltaic collectors, for example, could accelerate the transition to renewable energy.
Fourth-generation reactors and nuclear-waste recycling
Current once-through nuclear power reactors use only 1% of the potential energy available in uranium, leaving the rest radioactively contaminated as nuclear “waste”. While the technical challenge of geological disposal is manageable, the political challenge of nuclear waste seriously limits the appeal of this zero-carbon and highly scalable energy technology. Spent-fuel recycling and breeding uranium-238 into new fissile material – known as Nuclear 2.0 – would extend already-mined uranium resources for centuries while dramatically reducing the volume and long-term toxicity of wastes, whose radioactivity will drop below the level of the original uranium ore on a timescale of centuries rather millennia. This makes geological disposal much less of a challenge (and arguably even unnecessary) and nuclear waste a minor environmental issue compared to hazardous wastes produced by other industries. Fourth-generation technologies, including liquid metal-cooled fast reactors, are now being deployed in several countries and are offered by established nuclear engineering companies.
Life and Universe
Life In The Universe

In the selection I have chosen Chapter 6 of Life in the Universe; The Evolution of Life on Earth begins with the theories of Darwin and natural selection and how survival of the fittest was one of the main theories of evolution of life of an organism. Although it is a good theory, and has been tested through years it is not one of the main priorities of evolution. There was a reason of an outside force that forced the funas to extinction, not because it was unable to adapt to an environment. Also the past of origin goes too far back and is so complicated that there is no sure way to point a certain time or place in the history of our origin, unlike the work of nature. For example Homo sapiens come to be through neural complexity. Human arose from thousands of events happening in time that altered our past in a dramatic way. In order to understand the drastic changes we have to understand not just the principals of evolution but to understand the theory and life styles of fossils found.
Complex creatures don’t mean that it has a better chance of survival and evolving into something better. Yet the simplest form of creation like bacteria still rule all with the enormous amount occupying the earth. Still the more complex we are doesn’t mean we have a better chance of survival. More complex animals like dinosaurs have already been extinct, so that tells us a great deal about evolving or surviving in the future. Bacteria occupy a wider range of space on earth and are an indestructible type of organism. Humans and other type of complex organisms have to worry about their extinction while bacteria on the other hand have a low chance of getting wiped out. Even as they are simple organisms they also have the same chance as we do to evolve without the tough struggle. Comparing the two it shows that complexity was not good or favored issue in evolution. Complexity is probably a bias made by us for the reason of our being and our evolution. Evolving in such a way, it would state that animals evolve by greater complexity, or ecological adaptation with the theories of Darwin. Still there is no proof to us that this was true. Also if complexity was such a great thing why did it take so long for evolution of these type of species (including us).
With the evolution of species some must get erased to make way for new animals to emerge, for instance environmental changes. Dinosaurs for an example was thought to rule over the earth before mammals but the truth stands out that mammals and dinosaurs coexisted together for about 100 million years, just that mammals were small creatures. History books tend to be bias about the way that we evolve to this state. Even in books they state humans as the last of the evolutionary chain when other animals are evolving ahead or with us. They don’t talk about the past of the chain and only little bits and pieces but the bias point of what has only evolved at that moment. Many species with multicellular structure evolve to great numbers but those experiments died out the few remaining branches branched out to more different types but they all have basic anatomies. Mass extinction is another reason of evolution is through sudden changes impacts that happen quickly that wipes out a lot of species but the best equipped tend to survive and evolve more differently to suit the environment, like Darwinian.
It is thought that mammals survive that castrophobic moment in time is due to the very small size they were, where as the dinosaurs in great size died out. They have a greater chance of not getting extinct by the small size and able to hide in many more places and it was easier for them to branch out to the territory of the dinosaurs since they were extinct.
With the theories of evolution humans do not want to see themselves as an insignificant branch of the tree of evolution. So the theories of us dominating all and how we are greater rings in our mind that we stand above all species. So we will always be bias about humans being greater in a tree of evolution then just a tiny twig broken and would not grow out if not taken care properly. We will not understand the way of evolution completely, if we do not accept the fact that where we stand is just as little as every other species.
In chapter 6 Evolution of Life on Earth, I totally agree with the process of evolution and how we tend to take proportion of the situation and see ourselves as a greater being or species upon all others. When other species evolved before us and is still going on with their lifestyle for example bacteria. Bacteria are among us everywhere yet they are the least complex and very little. We in the other hand are greater in size and very complex with vertebras also with a brain but still worry about our future in a time of extinction. We see ourselves above it all and tend to base history on and around us, but really we are just a little twig in a big brush that continues to grow and expand without notification. In order for us to understand evolution is for us to take in and understand our place in the evolutionary period and other evolving species as well. So the coexistence with one another does not interfere with each other’s lives. Getting rid of the bias we have for the view of evolutionary path will open more doors to the awareness of other species and the knowledge we gain from them.
Chapter 6 of Evolution of life on Earth and its relevance to the class by how organism or species are evolving on our earth. Understanding our evolutionary past will give us hope that somewhere in the universe there is such a process of evolution beginning or going on in another planet. Giving us understanding of how life goes on and the possibility of life starting shows us that maybe our future may not be so dim. Also gives us a chance of better survival. This issue has to do with the universal life in the cosmos by us. The planet Earth is too, apart of the cosmos and therefore is a big deal because it sustains life in its presence. Our understanding the past leads us to the knowledge and hope towards the future. Also we might be able to make a water-sustaining planet to have such life evolve for our suitability.

Life and Universe
Life in a Universe
The universe, of which i am a part is a
grand physical entity having its
own
laws and a consistent set of other
entities maintaining a dynamical
balance
and rationality among
the manifold aspects of reality of
existence. What does
reality of
existence mean then? Is this definition
bound on the realm of what
we know or how far we can know or neither? Have i been endowed the right to
speak what i have discovered and understood my life here? Does this Universe
let me know of what the reality is and does it let what i have discovered to be
an aspect of the reality?
I live in a universe which is supposed to be
13.7 billion years old. It loves equilibrium and has been preserving it. I was
born to preserve an equilibrium and will pass away to preserve it. Nature
doesn't understand my presence. It just knows to preserve equilibrium and the
world which i perceive here is an outcome of this process. I am a mere
creature. ...sounds pitiful.... There is no difference between me and an ant, a
butterfly, a rat, a dog, a stone, a river, a tree, an Earth and everything
else. After all, we all are preserving equilibrium. When nature demands my
demise, i will fade away. When nature demands, a stone breaks. I am a worker in
my task to preserve equilibrium in the industry of existence. Life what i
thought 'd be a wonderful one. But alas! It isn't so. I have emotions. I want
to glee, do what i like, love, enjoy, learn, care, help. I have my own desires,
my own aim, my own Responsibilities. But the Nature isn't going to understand
these stuffs. It knows just to preserve equilibrium. It is a non-human creature.
Nonsense Universe...
Generating New Ideas
Think different.Do different
Don't Afraid to be success, Afraid not to try
Prakash
"We need to think differently!""This needs some fresh ideas!""We have got to be more creative around here!"Are messages like these popping up more and more in your workplace?Faced with complex, open-ended, ever-changing challenges, organizations realize that constant, ongoing innovation is critical to stay ahead of the competition. This is why we need to be on the lookout for new ideas that can drive innovation, and it's why the ability to think differently, generate new ideas, and spark creativity within a team becomes an important skill. You need to work actively on building and cultivating this skill, and it can be done!Often, though, we make the mistake of assuming that good ideas just happen. Or worse still, we get caught in the mind trap that creativity is an aptitude; some people have it, others don't. Then there is the other self-defeating belief – "I am not intelligent enough to come up with good ideas."These assumptions are rarely true. Everyone can come up with fresh, radical ideas – you just need to learn to open your mind and think differently. This article shows you how to do so.
- How to Generate New Ideas
Standard idea-generation techniques concentrate on combining or adapting existing ideas. This can certainly generate results. But here, our focus is on equipping you with tools that help you leap onto a totally different plane. These approaches push your mind to forge new connections, think differently and consider new perspectives.
A word of caution – while these techniques are extremely effective, they will only succeed if they are backed by rich knowledge of the area you're working on. This means that if you are not prepared with adequate information about the issue, you are unlikely to come up with a great idea even by using the techniques listed here.Incidentally, these techniques can be applied to spark creativity in group settings and brainstorming sessions as well.
All of us can tend to get stuck in certain thinking patterns. Breaking these thought patterns can help you get your mind unstuck and generate new ideas. There are several techniques you can use to break established thought patterns:
- Breaking Thought Patterns
All of us can tend to get stuck in certain thinking patterns. Breaking these thought patterns can help you get your mind unstuck and generate new ideas. There are several techniques you can use to break established thought patterns:
- Challenge assumptions:
- For every situation, you have a set of key assumptions. Challenging these assumptions gives you a whole new spin on possibilities.
- You want to buy a house but can't since you assume you don't have the money to make a down payment on the loan. Challenge the assumption. Sure, you don't have cash in the bank but couldn't you sell some of your other assets to raise the money? Could you dip into your retirement fund? Could you work overtime and build up the kitty in six months? Suddenly the picture starts looking brighter
- .
- Think in reverse:
- If you feel you cannot think of anything new, try turning things upside-down. Instead of focusing on how you could solve a problem/improve operations/enhance a product, consider how could you create the problem/worsen operations/downgrade the product. The reverse ideas will come flowing in. Consider these ideas – once you've reversed them again – as possible solutions for the original challenge.
- Express yourself through different media:
We have multiple intelligence's but somehow, when faced with workplace challenges we just tend to use our verbal reasoning ability. How about expressing the challenge through different media? Clay, music, word association games, paint, there are several ways you can express the challenge. Don't bother about solving the challenge at this point. Just express it. Different expression might spark off different thought patterns. And these new thought patterns may yield new ideas.
- Connect the Unconnected
Some of the best ideas seem to occur just by chance. You see something or you hear someone, often totally unconnected to the situation you are trying to resolve, and the penny drops in place. Newton and the apple, Archimedes in the bath tub; examples abound.
Why does this happen? The random element provides a new stimulus and gets our brain cells ticking. You can capitalize on this knowledge by consciously trying to connect the unconnected.
Actively seek stimuli from unexpected places and then see if you can use these stimuli to build a connection with your situation. Some techniques you could use are:
- Use random input:
- Choose a word from the dictionary and look for novel connections between the word and your m problem
- .Mind map possible ideas:
- Put a key word or phrase in the middle of the page. Write whatever else comes in your mind on the same page. See if you can make any connections.
- Pick up a picture.
- Consider how you can relate it to your situation.
- Take an item.
- Ask yourself questions such as "How could this item help in addressing the challenge?", or "What attributes of this item could help us solve our challenge?"
- Shift Perspective
Over the years we all build a certain type of perspective and this perspective yields a certain type of idea. If you want different ideas, you will have to shift your perspective. To do so:
- Get someone else's perspective:
- Ask different people what they would do if faced with your challenge. You could approach friends engaged in different kind of work, your spouse, a nine-year old child, customers, suppliers, senior citizens, someone from a different culture; in essence anyone who might see things differently.
- Play the "If I were" game:
- Ask yourself "If I were ..." how would I address this challenge? You could be anyone: a millionaire, Tiger Woods, anyone.
- The idea is the person you decide to be has certain identifiable traits. And you have to use these traits to address the challenge. For instance, if you decide to play the millionaire, you might want to bring traits such as flamboyance, big thinking and risk-taking when formulating an idea. If you are Tiger Woods you would focus on things such as perfection, persistence and execution detail.
- Employ Enablers
Enablers are activities and actions that assist with, rather than directly provoke, idea generation. They create a positive atmosphere. Some of the enablers that can help you get your creative juices flowing are:
- Belief in yourself: Believe that you are creative, believe that ideas will come to you; positive reinforcement helps you perform better.
- Creative loafing time: Nap, go for a walk, listen to music, play with your child, take a break from formal idea-generating. Your mind needs the rest, and will often come up with connections precisely when it isn't trying to make them.
- Change of environment: Sometimes changing the setting changes your thought process. Go to a nearby coffee shop instead of the conference room in your office, or hold your discussion while walking together round a local park.
- Shutting out distractions: Keep your thinking space both literally and mentally clutter-free. Shut off the Blackberry, close the door, divert your phone calls and then think.
- Fun and humor: These are essential ingredients, especially in team settings.

Key Points:
The ability to generate new ideas is an essential work skill today. You can acquire this skill by consciously practicing techniques that force your mind to forge new connections, break old thought patterns and consider new perspectives.
Along with practicing these techniques, you need to adopt enabling strategies too. These enabling strategies help in creating a positive atmosphere that boosts creativity.
